my friend living in the next time zone asked me a few moments ago why i was still awake. i told her it was because i had work to do, and that was true, but i realized it was also because i had determined it would take too much effort to go to bed.

it makes sense; trust me.

if you’re ever in cambridge, by the way, stop by mass ave. tonight, $9.50 got me a take-out box (house special chicken fried rice), hot tea in a glass, jabs at my mandarin chinese, and undisguised insinuations from a sassy restaurant owner that i need to be watching my weight.

ironically enough, i think i’ll be back again soon. i had a good time.

but for now, back to work or maybe to bed.
